im pretty sure the internals are stronger in the 3sgte , but not 100% on this ( crank, rods , pistons, bearings etc )
I cant see why you couldnt NA a 3sgte block - and retain the same head/intake side of things , and just use a good set of extractors to backstep by removing the forced induction gear ..
Then again - Why would you bother ?
Are you looking for a high revving cammy 3sge setup ?

3SGTE has a lower compression than a 3SGE, it's more like a 3SFE in that respect. other than that I am not sure.
but Stuart if you N/A a 3sgte you would have bigger injectors

yeah well ive got a 3SGE at the moment and i want to keep it N/A at the moment (insurance) but i want to do some 3SGTE internals to it like pistons, rods, cams ect...
would this work out well anyone think?
also i was thinking of a new ECU set up to couple it all as well

3sgt would run lower compression hence less performance if run as an NA motor....
