Did the Celicas with 18RG motors have hydraulic clutches and if so how hard or easy is it to swap a cable clutch system with a hydraulic?

look at $120-$160 for a master cyl, $60 odd for a slave, $???? for welding bossed onto bellhousing for the slave, about $20 for all the associated stuff for the pedals {clevis pin, ect}, have no idea about hoses, maybe $50, or u could just scrounge all the stuff from a wreckers

DO NOT use old cylinders, if u do make sure u get them re-kitted by pros

if u just want a rekit {seals} then about $20-30 odd {trade} and if u want a full re-sleeve, new piston, new seals then about $140 for the master and $100 for the slave, u can do the reseal yourself

When i did my clutch, i did all the work myself. off the shelf price for parts was $10 to kit the slave and $30 to kit the master. the flexible hose was $35. to get a slave cylinder rekitted is about $40 trade price at brake mart. thats where the hose came from. the kits came from cheapa auto (townsville), but can be purchased from brakemart for about the same price.
