Well Another Dyno Day has been and gone ! Not quite the crowds we were hoping for but a great day and almost all Toyotas which made a nice change.

Special Thanks to Dyno Dave and Darren Cowling for putting up with us all for the day and ensuring a smooth and hassel free series of Dyno Runs (And with accurate figures too Wink ), The Stitt and Steve Healey who kept the BBQ going all day, Bandit for helping with the morning feed, Mandy for looking after the dyno entries, Kirsty for doing the Pre Dyno Day shopping and our team of volunteer shelter builders for helping us set up in the morning. And last but not least the Toymods Board who were there on the day. Without the pre event and on the day efforts these days wouldn't be possible.

Extra Special Thanks to Steve again for providing the Sausages and Bacon on the Day, In case you were wondering where those awesome sausages came from it was:

Harwood Meats
Shop 3/31 Lindfield Ave

I'm kinda spewin' my RAV wasn't ready for the day... would have been a contender for best 4WD with the 3S-GTE in it. Very Happy Nevertheless, next time it will be there, and boosting on all fours. Wink I said I'd rock up to see the going's on, but after a huge night last night, I didn't get up until 1pm this afternoon. Sounds like a good day was had anyway.

Thanks Rod.

A big thanks from Dave and myself to Josh for doing the keyboard work on the dyno too. It was a huge help!

Hmmm. Some interesting figures there. Wish I could have had my car. Sad

I signed up on the day, but had to leave before I could collect my card etc. What can I do about that? Where can I pick it up from?? Cheers.

click the link and find out! It's like magic! We are getting WAY off subject here.

What was the "most improveds" margin between this time and last dyno day? ie, what was the killowatt gain between the two dyno days?

Better watch out for a RAV4/GT4 hybrid next time around. Not quite sure what it's capable of yet, but it's very promising. Very Happy And there will be no more issues with confusing the dyno into giving higher readings between the front and rear wheels. It will have no more viscous centre diff. Rolling Eyes Also the drive f/r bias % will be reversed.

I can't believe it at all, it goes against everything I've been trying in the past!
Last dyno day it made 56.6kW, so that's a 4.3kW increase. Smile
That teaches everyone who reckons they wouldn't be able to win a trophy a lesson, I just won 2 with 60.9kW! Laughing

I've hardly looked twice at my car, let alone my motor in the last month or so, & I gave it absolutely no preperation, but it was running 8 degrees less ignition advance, and the temp sensor is dicky as well. It's also in much worse shape than it was 6 months ago, blowing plenty of blue smoke under acceleration these days.

If all goes according to plan, it should have its new motor by dubbo, & all ready for next dyno day. Smile

Well i have a new dizzy cap and it isn't missfiring anymore. So all it need now is a good tune, and to get the blow off working properly, but i guess this will be done with the tune.
