Custom seats for a ta-22

hey,
the seats in my ta22 are average, no side support, a few tears, so im looking to replace them.
i dont really require bucket seats or harnesses, im just looking for a slight upgrade, something thats tidy, and functional,
so basically what have other people done, what modifications need to be made, plenty of details, costs,
cheers

is easier to get your existing seats re-upholstered - otherwise you gotta find seats that you like then stuff around adapting the mount points (and sometimes rails).
new aftermarket seats will start at $500 ea - a trimming shop should be able to do both for that price...

to give you an idea of the sort of stuff i had to do
i used 4mm strap which is overkill though. TIG welded together by meridian motorsport - they ain't moving!
