Hi everyone, I was up at the gas station the other day in my RA23, and a guy appoached me all nostalgic (I guess it is a very nostalgic car). We got a talkin and he was saying that I should really get the old style jap spec mirrors that mount on the wheel guards, as they really do complete the car, I think he does have a bit of a point. Has anyone seen this done in Aus before? he was saying that there is still a company in Sydney that has them, I've also seen them on some pre 70s british classics driving around aswell. Does anyone know what the legalities are for such a thing?

Yes, illegal in Australia, contravenes the Australian Design Rules (ADR's). Skewers the little kiddies like cocktail olives when you run them over outside the school ground....
Cheers,
Mitch.

bloody ADRs, if only we could sacrifice a few kiddies all in the name of looks!!!! I still wonder about those classic brit cars though, they must only drive on Sundays when there's no school.
Thanks for the help lads.....
