Are there any people on here that are any good at making or assembling images?
I'm trying to get a webpage up and running to publish my TA22 3S-GTE conversion and I need a some kind of image or banner for the front page.
This is the page that I am working on: http://www.shanes.au.com/ At the moment there is a Extra-Light image up the top and this is pretty much where I would like the new image to go.
So is anyone able to make me banner to suit the Classic Celica Project theme?

I generally play around with a few interesting little Java programs to create lil cute waves and stuff. Might not entirely be u're cup of tea (and rightly so...) the site I create is very much a boredom project compiled completely by hand using a text-editor and my somewhat decent knowledge of html coding...the lil java applet is down tha bottom...lake effect on a ford laser of all things...

Took a good looking person and created ... um ... something. Might be impressive skillwise, but the end result is pretty ugly

It's called artistic interpretation...
Not all art appeals to all people. I think the work is quite impressive, although I understand the level of skill required in photoshop to achieve the end results.
Art isn't for everyone.

i personally dont think very highly of the image either, but whatever floats your boat. and bbaacchhyy, or anyone else, shouls have the freedom and opportunity to offer critisism (or parise) if they feel it is appropriate. people dont make art to put in a dark shoebox. people will look and comment, thats the way it is.
and no, it doesnt need 'tits' to make the 'imbiciles' appreciate it, you tool...

haha guys you can like it or not, thats the whole point
for those of you who like it, thanks
for those of you who dont, thats okay
its a little dark with a cruddy monitor, works better when you can see the details
its was a grunge piece so it was suposed to look messy and broken
i do allkinds of art, pop, grounge, minimalist, cyber/newage style, classic
meh thats only 1 of a few thousand pieces
check the folio for web work, thats where the good shit is

ok, heres a few slap up ideas for the soft grey tones of you page...
i think the top two will 'end' too abruptly, so i added the other layer for the last two. work in progress, just wanted to see what you thought shane....

No need, world would be a better place..esp these forums if people didn't insult other peoples work?

If you look closely, whilst I said I didn't like the look, I can appreciate the skill that went into it. A pair of tits wouldn't have made much difference. In the end, if I sdon't like it I'll say so. Art is all about interpretation, and my interpretation is that I tend to like things I can recognise, not abstract stuff.
FWIW, I can't use photoshop or similar for shit, so I couldn't even say I can do better
