Hey guys,
After browsing the internet, you guys seem to know what you're talking about when it comes to Toyota performance.
I currently own a 1986 ae82 corolla cs sedan, complete with 4ac engine. I would like to sometime in the future to do a conversion, preferably with a 100kw 4age. I have been looking around for 100kw 4age halfcuts, and am finding that prices range from $1000 all the way through to $3000. Has anyone done this conversion before, and if so, is it relatively simply? Is it worth spending the extra money on a half cut to get quality?
I have already done a search, and could not find any specific info on such a conversion.
Thank you in advance for you help.
Michael

About 7 years ago I did an 86kW half cut conversion on my 1985 AE82 sedan. Kept the outside looking bog stock standard, complete with the CS badge.
Relatively straight forward (I'm not a mechanic or anything). The car still lives to this day (having been through 2 other owners since) and has over 350,000km on the clock

If ur from sydney, go and speak to SSS automotive at girraween
if u dont have rear disc brakes ur gonna have to do a brake upgrade. new hubs, master, bigger front and rear brakes(don't have to but u should 4 safety)
It's pretty much a pull out bolt in situation. bar the wiring
Good Luck Man
