For a start, teach your girlfriend to drive a manual or you'll never be happy with any turbo or engine conversion that you get...
Autos suck unless it's bolted to a 1JZ out of a soarer and you can't find a manual box.

Obviously you're not going to do it yourself, you didn't even list the engine and chassis types.
People will give you advice but aren't going to do your research for you. Come back when you have a bit more info (like the type of engine at least).

Tell me about that one!!  B/T 20V running and auto??? Yes, but it's better than a 4AC and It needed a home.
Stock, where are you from, that might help.... parts are easy if your local.
