I've heard that you can buy glue-in/weld-in ones, that's apparently what the import people use when compliancing import cars, but I haven't been able to find anywhere that actually sells them...

Go to your wrecker and grab a post '86 ULP filler neck. AE82 Corolla or whatever, you can find one. Cut out the section with the flap door and the breather holes above it and have that welded into your original filler neck. I had this done for my RA23 using a GX61 filler neck.

Gidday
I purchased mine from a 'grey importer' cost the princely sum of $20. On the celica it was an interference fit.
I am also sure Autopro/bumper-to-bumper etc can supply.
'Spose the qustion is 'why do you want one'? You can no longer buy leaded fuel and I understand they are no longer a requirement by engineers for conversions.

They are? My engineer told me to get one...
I might try AutoOne or something...

if you're changing over to an engine that was desgined to run U/L in an EFI system with a cat, you're supposed to put the restrictor there - so in theory you can't put LRP into it and produce emissions above the designed limit of the engine... but seeing as so many of us are either:
-producing power way in excess of factory standard
-madly driving like a gorilla with it's arse on fire
its really a bit futile to try to stick to a 'designed' emissions standard...

Pulled the stuff of an AU tank tonite.
Doesnt look that hard to get to fit. I'll just cut it up a bit & tack weld it in my filler neck.
The i'll weld the outer piece on so i can use the late model cap.

Did some work fitting the filler today.
Pretty easier & now all i have to do is weld it.
Sorry about the low quality pics but they were only done with my phone.

This is the restrictor removed from the falcon inlet, only took a couple of taps to break the spot welds.

Here it is after i cut off the end of my standard filler. Its a perfect fit.

This is the end of the falcon filler. fits in perfectly once the fittings have been cut off.
All i have to do is weld it in now.
