PERTH PPL, Engine hoist needed

Can anybody in Perth lend me an engine hoist for a few hours tomoro arvo?
I need to pick an engine up off the ground and put it on the back of a ute.
I had planned to do it today (thursday) but the place I was borrowing it from had lent it out
Can anyone help pleaes?

Dependant on motor, two or three guys with good backs should be enough, I've lifted a 1UZ with two other guys without issues. Unfortunately, my engine lifter has a motor and gearbox on it at the moment.

Yeah, we thought about lifting it by ourselves, but since the gbox is still attached, and its going onto the back of a hilux, its not exactly the easiest thing to lift

The motor is at a shop in Mirrabooka, and its going to my house in Carine
Worst comes I just hire a hoist for an hour or so.
I only need to use it to get it onto the ute. I got a block and tackle to get it off, but no where to use the block and tackle at the shop

i would say yes but i don't have one
just hire one, just say you need it for 30 minutes and it'll cost you a few dollars

i would if i had one my mates got a bunky as one they welded a frame together slapt a winch and a pulley on there bobs your uncle you have a cheap very dangerous engine hoist

It's prolly easiest to hire one, $30 for 4 hours, sounds good to me
