hey guys im back again asking questions. the hybrid is a go and ive decided to go with forced induction from a sc-14 supercharger hopefully running at 20psi. Now heres the questions, ive read that other twin screw superchargers are fully capable of running 20psi but some have problems with the teflon coating of the screws delaminating, is this the same case with the toyota sc-14. now to internals, with running the supercharger at 20 psi i assume the engine will require forged pistons and the like, could u confirm this, also wat psi could i run the supercharger if i didnt use forgies. lastly ive had my heart set on getting a pair of 304/304 cams for this engine, but with the supercharger they wouldnd suit it i assume so wat cams would u reconmend with this setup.
thankyou all

1. Both the SC12 and SC14 have a safe flow limit after which the teflon coatings start to fail. I don't know what the limit will be in your case (it depends on the engine as well as the supercharger itself), but I suspect 20psi is pushing your luck!
2. You'll definitely want forgies at that boost level.
3. Depends entirely on tune, but I wouldn't feel comfortable going above 10psi with the stock pistons.
4. Supercharged engines need cams with little or no overlap. Go for a less aggressive cam profile but with plenty of lift.
