a guy at work was telling me there is a 3sgte "S" now ive never heard of this but apparantly this motor is the best one to use in a rwd car - can anyone confirm this and/or tell me what the motor is actually out of?

Never heard of a 3sgte 'S'

There is however a st-215 available. Maybe this??

st215 is the caldina wagon Smile

there is no 3sgte S as far as i know Smile

All 3sgte's are the same desgin in principal and counter all the same issues with making RWD coversions .. Smile

sounds like he forgot to refer to the letters B E A M, which should come before the S.

that would eb a 3sge Beams Smile

foound in the celica GT in japan ( i think ) and the altezza RS2000 Wink

thats a RWD setup - non turbo - mated to a rwd 6 speed tiptroni style auto i think
