Okay, This is my first post here...I need help with my ra40. Right now, I have a 22r in it. I was thinking if I can put something better into it like...7mgte, 4agze, 4age or the 22re. But here's the problem, my cars a carbie and I was wondering if swapping it for a fuel injected will be easy. Hoping somebody here can help me because everybody in the US know sh*t about this car.

not hard just expensive
u need a surge tank
an electric pre pump to pump fuel to surge tank
an electric efi pump to pump fuel to engine
8mm fuel line to engine and 8mm fuel line for return
another way out of it is to get yr fuel tank modified so as to have an internal efi pump this way is better and safer as less hoses and connections

I'd definitely go with the latter suggestion; it's so much neater and easier. You just need to find a shop with experience modifying fuel tanks (without blowing themselves up that is).
