AE82 Fuel Tank

Howdy all. Just chucked in about 33L of premium into my AE82 Seca - does anyone know the actual fuel tank size? If it is 40, then everything is probably cool. If it's 50 - I might have a dodgy fuel amount thingo.

Is that a definitive "your fuel tank is 45L" or; my lebbo mate Habib told me that his Uncle's cousin had a step sister that dated a Toyota dealer in the 80s that said it was 45L?

Oops...Just checked the manual and it says 50L on all 2A-C, 4-A and 4A-GE models. Soz bout that.
But its definitely 50L

Too bad through design flaw it doesnt actually hold the 50L.
It's closer to 45-42.

I never get more than 40L into my 4A-GE ae82's tank. (So it must be at least 40L)

well there is 10L/100kms left once the fuel light comes on. so thats maybe why it seems like you can only get close to 40
