hi scott! yeah their forums seem to be inactive. oh well.
i had the sillycar serviced and checked over today. good news, no major work needed but the rocker cover gasket, distributor seal (i think it's called an O ring?), cam seals and power steering hose are all leaking oil but that's not too hard to fix. the power steering hose needs to be replaced altogether which is probably the most pricey thing to do. looking at about $250 including labour. that's not including those leaks which i'm going to try to do with some help from my friends.
dunno what to do about that headlight and the scrape on the passenger side.
scott, you did a shocker of a job on that windscreen rubber up the top lol... i gotta fix that too.
but yeah he said the engine itself is fine, no head gasket dangers, no brake or gearbox problems, but he said the wheels were 'overkill'
so no major concerns there. good news.
great car guys!!! even though both my parents told me not to buy it cause i'm a girl and girls should have modest cars.
whatever
