turbo line Q's
Sun, 25 January 2004 06:37
I am halfway through fitting a to to my Cordia (I know it not a Toyota) and have a few Q's
1) Can oil cooler hose be used to extend the oil drain line?
2) Anyone know where I can get some cheap braided lines made in Newcastle?

NFI sorry. I'm in canberra, but if you go to your local Pirtek/Enzed/etc hose store, you can buy the bits to make them yourself, its quite simple.
Cheers

Make sure the oil cooler hose is large diameter, ie at least as large as the outlet on the turbo. Also make sure it only runs downhill. Oil coming out of the turbo is frothy and doesn't flow too well.
