T50 gearbox???

This gearbox was attached to my 2TGEU and it's shaped like my T50 but the gear stick sits further back and the clutch has a different lever with none of the plumbing that my original has.
Anyone know if this is still a T50 or something else?
(Hmm the attach photo's buttons not here. I have some piccies...)

i think its still a t50 just a diff version.
i know i've got a t50 in my 2tgeu te71
i also know it is not interchangable with the ae86 t50s, something to do with input shafts..
cheers

celicas had a longer extension housing for the tunnel compared to the AE86 T50, there were actually 3 locations for the extension housing as theres another for the 4age corona as well

Yeah I noticed that the spline didn't match up with my existing drive shaft. Anyway to find out what it suits (ie. AE86 or corona)? Its from a TE71 halfcut. so I'm assuming it's for the AE86...

I've got both a TE71 and AE86 gearbox lying around, and they're not the same - the TE71 is the 'early' type T50. Sorry peoples

AE86 has a small flat section, te71 is all spline
