I have recently put a 1ggte into a '90 cressida and was wondering what some 'bolt-on' upgrades would be. If possible running stock turbos etc. What boost can u safely run with standard set-up anyway???

Any suggestions would be great thanks

The stock turbos are the bottleneck on a factory 1G, so if you don't replace them there's not much point upgrading anything else... apart from intercooler perhaps, but you're not going to find a "bolt on" item for a Cressida!

Start with an aftermarket ecu and as norbie said an I/C is also a very good idea.
I am running about 15 psi on stock gear and it is holding together very well

Cheers

what would be a suitable upgrade for the turbos eg a pair of ct-26 or what? What would have to be modified?

bigger turbos would probably mean:
custom or modded exhaust manifold and dump pipe(s)
modified air intake
improved injectors
aftermarket ECU
exhaust

not really 'bolt on' stuff tho ...

I wouldn't recommend a pair of CT26's on a 2 litre engine, unless you really like turbo lag! A single CT26 (from a 7M) would be a good upgrade if you're on a budget. All of the above applies though; it's not a simple matter of bolting on a turbo and driving away unfortunately.
