I want a Cruiser!!

Well no me really, My GF. She want's a fj40 cruiser with everything done. huge lift and a nice paint job. I am having second thoughts on the engine though, I was going to go for the time-honoured small-block chev V8 but after driving my 1ggte celica I just HAVE to go fuel injection.
Does anyone know what will fit and what would be appropiate? I would love the throb of the 8 though...will the 1uz fit? I hve no idea on engine bay size uet though...
Has anyone out there got a FJ40??

The 1UZFE should fit no probs, its not a really big engine.
Having said that........1GZFE......

Hahaha, I know what you're going for, my mate has a short-wheelbase soft-top Landy, not sure of year, early 70's I'd imagine...
He has old 308 Holden V8...sounds awesome, pretty cool car...drinks like a fish though! Personally I don't think you could go past the 1UZFE though

Just curious, but, does the V12 fit under the bonnet of a Supra?
It may not be registrable, but it would be very cool.

I dunno, width may be a bit of a problem on a Mk3 Supra. The engine bay is a tad wider on a Mk2 and it shouldn't have a problem with the length

I havent in person. I'm imaginging its roughly the width of 1UZFE and about the length of an M series.

I was searching for a 1GZ-FE information and saw you are chasing a landcruiser!
I have 3
I am putting a 1UZ-FE into one of them
I have one with a turbo diesel, id sell you 15" of lift, dual air selectable spools, full rollcage, 4 wheel disc, 35" tyres, 10" deep rims
