Expression of Interest:
1983 Toyota Sprinter AE86 UNFINISHED PROJECT
No rego, it's been without it since November 2002. I've still got the papers to bring it back on the road.
Reason for EOI, no time to work on the car and its putting me into debt... so far it has cost me in excess of $13,000 and I can't afford it.
The car is in fairly good condition, apart from the cobwebs starting to cover the car.
The chassis looks to be straight, the body panels are straight but there is discolouration (car might have been in an accident before I bought it in July 2002). Colour is blue.
The interior is all messy, I stripped it out the back part of the car, most of the panels in the hatchback is gone... still got the rear seats though!
The car has rust in some areas, particularly on the bottom of the doors.
This car had been intended for daily driving (turbocharged and engineered) and a bit of circuit use too.
Anyway, this is what's done to the car:
JDM 4AGE bigport currently being rebuilt by Screamin' Performance - based in Wollongong - (TRD metal gasket, 4AGZE injectors, opened up exhaust valves, TVIS removed (not sure if its done yet), balanced crankshaft, general engine reconditioning and a few other things (I'll have to check with the shop)
***Note: engine is still in the shop, its not in the car... the car has no engine, gearbox, drive shaft or fuel tank in/on/under the car. I took them off but I can put it back on.
I've got a surge tank and high/low fuel pumps, good for NA use but not so sure for FI.
I've also got a VL (not turbo) fuel pump but it's fairly old... I don't know if it'll work still.
JDM T50 gearbox, missing a few links/bits and pieces at the gear stick/lever but can be taken from the 4AC gearbox and put on from what I've heard.
Clutch is a brand new heavy duty Daikin clutch (cant remember specs from memory). Fits 4AGE 16V (not sure if RWD and FWD are same dimensions). Already bolted on the engine.
Used BBGT28 turbo from an R32/R33 (?) Nissan Skyline, it's got the non-ceramic turbine.
I bought a log-style manifold for 4AGE but it didn't fit the BBGT28, maybe to suit T25? No idea... I've written down the dimensions of the part where the manifold bolts onto the turbo. If anyone wants it, i'll sell ths piece separately as it's of no use to me.
I've also got a Nissan Pulsar GtiR intercooler, very good condition. No i/c piping.
Old school Greddy BOV...
No air filter, I think I've got the original airbox around somewhere.
Brakes up front are Mazda FC3S rotors/calipers on sprinter struts. Cusco (?) camber tops and ADR approved stainless steel braided brake lines... the rotors have lots of surface rust on it. Springs are standard. Rear brakes are standard AUDM drums. The suspension needs a bit of work done because I had the car on jack stands for so long the springs sagged. Also the steering arms need some attention.
I have 2 oil coolers (from Mitsubishi Galant VR4?) and the sandwich plate for 4AGE. No oil lines...
MR2 AW11 front bucket seats on AE86 rails... (seats used to have Mitsubishi Cordia rails on it) ok condition, just a bit dirty but no biggie.
Other interior stuff include: white faced BLITZ boost gauge 80mm with SARD red rubbery hose, old school BLITZ rotary dial boost controller, old school HKS turbo timer, Nardi steering wheel with boss kit. The car has no speakers or CD deck...
2 x 15 x 6.5 Impul Promesh rims + used tyres (offset? it barely fits on the FC3S rotor/caliper)
2 x 15 x 7 ADVAN Racing Oni rims + brand new tyres haven't had any mileage. (offset unsure but it fits on the ae86 with ease)
2 x 25mm wheel spacers (114.3 x 4)
Oh yeah NSW plates "TOFU86" black on white...
Never displayed, been on hold with RTA since March 2003.
Most of the parts I collected are bought from toymods and/or from PF.com.
I'd rather sell it all together but if enough people want to buy random stuff, I'll consider selling parts separately.
I've got pics of the car and its parts, reply here or PM me and I'll get back to you during the week.
If u email me, I'll reply straight away as I'm on emails most of the time.
If anyone is interested let me know and we'll talk about the price.
One last thing, the car (and parts) is in Wollongong and if the car is sold, it will need to be towed.

Go back and read it properly, it clearly states in the paragraph starting with ***Note: wether the car is driveable, and if you read the post and understand what is written you'll understand what needs to be done.
Just a thought.

Hey guys, the car in its current state is not driveable, there is no engine in the car at the moment. There's still a fair bit of work to be done to the car, i.e. fuel system, some suspension work, getting it engineered and what not.. I'd say the project is 2/3rds complete....
To the people that emailed me, I'll try and call you later today.

How much you want for the whole lot? Put a price up and I'll see if its worth it its better than asking for offers, for some offers it might be good but other might insulting.
