3SGE Engine with extras FS [new price] Mon, 26 January 2004 03:40 Go to next message
Gen 1 3SGE engine out of an ST162, the engine developed a slight knock in the bottom end and was taken off the road immediatly (to avoid massive damage) engine was great until this, never had a problem with it. It would suit a project rebuild (or maybe even a cheap rebuild). have everything that goes with it, lOOM, ECU, AFM, IGNITION PACK?. has a very good clutch still in it (only about 20K on it). If there is anything else you need with it just ask.

Engine did 250,000 km's

Looking for about (was $250) now $150

I would like to get rid of it as I don't have room to store it around my house.

Thanks, you can either PM me, E-Mail at wiseol1@hotmail.com or call on 0402302549
Joel

The one out the side...
yeah Laughing , it's not great Rolling Eyes most the gears were fine, it's just the second syncro, but i actually had a technique where i could change every time without grinding, either that or I had just worn the syncro that much it ground away Rolling Eyes . and it has a small crack in the bellhousing.

and the one on the engine...
yeah Laughing thats probably worse Rolling Eyes , second through forth syncros in that box were getting a bit dodgy, which was forcing me to double clutch.

you know usual ST162 stuff... Sad

Now with new price listed, only wanting $150 for everything mentioned above, I want to get rid of it.

it should still be good, although I can't guarentee, cause I haven't stripped it down. all I can say is I pulled it off the road before permanent damage was done (well to a degree for all you silly buggers out there Cool )
