RA60 Headlight Problem

Can anyone help? The popup headlights on my RA60 won't retract. (occasionally they do flip down when it rains). From what I've seen driving around town it seems to be a common problem with RA60s. Any ideas on what's causing it & how to rectify it would be appreciated. Thanks, CW.

Almost certainly an electrical problem, and I'll put money on a bad earth! Trace all the wiring and look for signs of corrosion or general dodginess. A multimeter will help if you have one.

OK thanks, I'll have a closer look at the wiring, earth, etc. I was wondering if there might be something wrong with the electric motors on those cars, as I must have seen a dozen RA60s on the road this past week with the same problem!
