after a long drive the other day I noticed my arm rest was abit worn and could be alot more softer, so I ripped it out today pulled the crummy sun armoured leather off..

there was only 1mm of foam under there, and that wouldnt do so I replaced the foam with some around 7 or 8mm thick.

reglued black with some red vinyl cut into letter shapes and voila...

super squishy schmick arm-rest

Was the arm rest in the aus delivered one, which i presume yours is.. a seperate thing to the rest of that console bit? In mine its all just one long black middle piece.... bet its comfy.

my mr2 is jdm.
the early model mr2s (84+) have a seperate piece whilst later models (88+) have a long black middle piece.
