I have a 93 RV Seca with a 7A-FE and have been considering doing a GE head conversion. Has anyone done this and is it worth it or should I work the FE head or are their any other good options???

So far I have One 7A in bits, and I was starting to pull down the 16V 4A I had and along came a 20V head and pistons, which were @ the right price, no T/B's Thou... so mine has take a wicked turn. At the moment, I just have to get some time off work to send the block, head, rods and crank to get crack test, cleaned, balance and ??? (I'm having a re-think now). How your's going?

Yeah, mine is getting along, slowly, but i have just got some new gaskets in, and the head is a mates workshop and getting the port and polish done.

I am yet to pull down the 7A and get the bottom end all balanced up etc...

What is it you said you were getting pressure tested?

Are you replacing cams, pistons ring etc ?

I've been very damn lazy lately, but that is all about to change! Smile

Ah... someone stole all my rally tyres and rims!! 12 in total, and someone with a key to my office... Really pissed off.

The head, shaved and very mild port job. Having the block crack tested.

Cams, Not straight away, later on down the track. Piston rings certainly!!
