1990 Celica Injectors Upgrade

Hey, i was wondering what would happen if i just got bigger injectors for my car without doing anything else. Would it make a difference? Would i need a new ECU or anything like that?
What injectors would be a good upgrade that are relatively easy to find second hand. Somebody suggested 1jzge (non turbo) injectors. My engine is a 5sfe.
Thanks

youd do a good job of drowning the engine in quantities of surpluss fuel...
why on earth would you want to put in bigger injectors!???
toyota ecus generally run the thing rich as hell as it is, if anything, leaning it out could be better that what your suggesting.

ive learned after postingg a similar question and learning quickly that i was wrong in the approach .
the only worthwile one i know of is the 550cc supra injector swap AFTER you go an aftermarket ECU and raise the power output by a heck of a lot ....
if its a gt4 your dealing with - it will handle 300 HP on stock injectors with good tuning/aftermarket ecu before having to upgrade .. Anything more and you really need to look at bigger ones.
ill be doing the injector upgrade on mine AFTER the turbo gets highflowed - as im aiming closer to the 400 hp mark

What do you guys recommend i do just to have a little bit of an advantage against other celica's. I don't want to be heaps faster but enough to beat them, and i don't have much of a budget. I have done exhaust, but not extractors, and a pod filter, which will be changed to cold air induction in a few weeks. i always run premium fuel. What little things can i do to give me an advantage? Thanks for the quick replies guys, love your car classique71

do your extractors .. thats your biggest gain right there..
have you done a full exhaust swap or just a cat back system ?
without forced induction , headwork , or camming - your best gans will come from exhaust flow , intake flow ( colder air , the better ) and tuning ..

What exactly is "tuning"? It sounds like unless i want extractors and cams done, there isn't much i can do. And to do them would cost a bit of money and wouldn't make that much difference to performance? With cams and extractors with 2.25" exhaust, what sort of gains can i expect and what approx cost?
