dude I don't know exactly myself, but I know you can take them right off easy as (done it myself) and get it chopped and welded.
This is not as good as a quick shifter with a modified axis point, but the box on an st162 doesn't really like heaps quick shifting, so you may as well just chop it I reckon and weld the top on.

or you try my dodgy quick shifter
I am using the GT4 shifter-gearbox cables on a normal ST162 shifter, since the GT4 shifter doesn't stand as tall (because of the larger tunnel, more compact) when I put it on the higher 162 shifter, it acts like a short shifter cause the cables are about 1" shorter.
But this won't work for you cause the links on the end on the cables for the gearbox are different. I just thought I'd say it.

or you could try the TRD website and order one of them, it's one of the few things they do for the ST162.
