do any of you have your basic map details for the 4AGE from your supplier?
im after a simple safe map to check against my own ign, inj, load and rpm points to make sure i can run in the new engine safely (still learning to play with these bloody things ) before getting the full dyno done once the kms are up.
any help would be good
ps i allready have a heavily modified map from a race engine i just need the basic 4A map
so even if you just have moderate cams it will be fine for me to double check on

I have Motec maps, but they are un-useable without the ECU

terry i just need the numbers at each 250rpm and 12.5% band point for Ign and Inj. basically i want to emulate a base map as a starting point to run in my engine then ill dyno it to get much better performance.
so if you can provide that information ill give you a big Hug
i have the microsoft software for Motec but im not sure if i can get the maps to come up without the ecu???

The motec maps will be editable without the ECU.
I've recently put an M4 on a 100kw motor with huge cams and have managed to get it running OK (but I'm now out of wide-band lambda support!).
If you need any help with the calibrations of the sensors, I'd be happy to help but I won't be back home until mid next week.
Let me know how you're going. It's great fun using the Motec.
If you're willing, I'd love to have a look at the race tuned map for interest sake.
Cheers,
