HAS ANYONE BOTHERED TO COME UP WITH A SOLUTION TO OVERCOME THE PROBLEM OF THE WATER PUMP BEING RUN OVERSPEED WHEN USING A LARGER CRANK PULLEY FOR THE SUPERCHARGER?

i have heard using a larger pulley on the waterpump also will slow it down! and also of using a smaller pulley on the supercharger instead will make it run slower, however the electromagnetic clutch that is attached to the SC pulley does not allow a smaller pulley to be used easily

The SC crank pulley is 15cm diameter and the SC pulley is 12.5cm, the circumference should be 47.1cm and 39.3cm respectively. The water pump pulley is 10.1cm so the circumference of that is 31.7cm.
1) STOCK: SC/Crank: 47.1/39.3 x100% = 119.8% The stock SC spins about 19.8% faster than the crank speed, ie rpm.
Crank/water pump: 47.1/31.7 x 100% = 148.6% The water pump will spin 48.6% faster than rpm.
2) HKS If we increase the crank pulley by 10mm (to 16cm) like the HKS pulley does, the SC should spin at 28%faster than rpm and the water pump will spin at 58.7% faster than rpm.
So with theHKS pulley the SC spins about 8% faster than the stock pulley, water pump will spin about 10% faster than stock.
3)Blitz With the Blitz 15mm oversized (say 16.5cm) the circumference of the crank pulley is 51.8cm. SC and water pump will spin 31.8% faster than crank speed and 63.4%faster than rpm respectively.
That means that with the Blitz, the SC will spin 12% faster thanstock and water pump will go 14.8% faster than stock.
4)Cusco The Cusco is 25mm oversized, the diameter of the belt section is 17.5cm. Cusco pulley spins the SC 139% faster than rpm and the water pump 149% faster than rpm.
That represents an increase of 19% faster than stock for the SC and 25% faster than stock for the water pump.
