why does my 18RGU seem leak oil from the cam chain tensioner (you know that lovely thing that hangs out the side of the engine, just near the dizzy)???? its starting to bug me!!
also, can u get rid of the pollution gear to make it an 18RG?

I think there's a rubber o-ring which seals the chain tensioner - sounds like it may need replacing.
You can't really make an 18R-GU into an 18R-G, as the compression ratio is the major difference. Leave the pollution gear alone, if functioning correctly it will have no effect on power output.
