Do you have an air compressor & access to a welder? The best way to find leaks is to take a short section of mild steel exhaust pipe that will fit in place of your air filter/airbox (with a hose clamp of course), weld a circular plate to one side of it, and a 6mm diameter fitting through the plate (a piece of small pipe such as fuel line will do). With the car turned off, hook the fitting up via some vaccum hose to an air blower on your air compressor, and pressurise the system to about 10psi. You will clearly hear/feel any leaks in the intake plumbing and intercooler. Might sound like a hassle, but its guaranteed to isolate any leaks...

To find C02 leaks in the beer gas lines we use soapy water. The idea is that you cover all the piping in the soapy water and eventually any air leaks will bubble up and be noticable.
I think this would be easy to do on a stationary car. Just rev it a bit to force air pressure through.

Have to agree, soapy water in a spray bottle. Use it for leaks on dive gear for work.

thanx guys, I found 3 leaks by taking pipes out and intercooler and putting them in a bath and blowing into one end hehe. Sounds silly but it worked
TE72_Turbo, that sounds like a good idea but a bit much work hehe considering I knew I was gonna have to take the pipes out anyway to fix up the welds.
The other 2 you can't really do because while the car is sitting there in neutrel you can't get it onto boost.
Thanx guys.
