diff ratio with 4AGZE or GTE

Hi! I'm thinking change my sprinter's Hilux diff ratio from 3.72 to something higher, like 4.10 for better acceleration, but they only come with open center and I have to spend extra to get the gears swop over. The only easy one is the 4.30, they come with LSD center but I'm worry that shorten the gear range too much. Any idea?
Cheers

4.11 would be my pick. 4.3 works great with NA 4AGE's, but with the extra torque a 4.11 seems to be the answer. However, I can't see the 4.3 being all that BAD, really. What gearbox are you using?

I got a T50 at the moment, but a W57 is on the way. Does the W57 have lower gear ratio than the T50??
Cheers

work out your shifting point in each gear and see which ratio will be better...
higher diff ratio will always be faster, but you don't want to have to change gears too often
i have a 4.2 in my rolla which gives it a top speed of about 175.... 100km/hr is around 4500rpm.. (in 4th, 1:1)
do you go highway cruising much?
Cya, Stewart
hmm, personally i'd go the 4.11 as well...good, but not annoying

hmm i was told that my GB was a W59 out of a truck, maybe i could prove/disprove this by calculating what the rpm should be at a given speed, say 4th gear at 100kms? can someone work out the formula for me cause i cant be assed. well i spose you would need to know the circumference of the tyres and all that shit aye, bah i cant be bothered.

I don't drive the car much at all, just my fun car, and maybe try to do some track or drifting. I got 4.3 with my NA 4AG before and the first gear is useless (finish too quick) But if it got a turbo to push maybe different story.... I'm confused
