hey just wondering if these can be installed on the earlier 2tg and if the have any power benifit.

im pretty sure they will work fine with no problems on any T series engines, and even probably others. dont expect any power increase, but they are heaps better as they are electronic, and seeing that means theres no points, less maintenance, and if ur points were worn, then u might notice a huge power increase

electronic dizzy setups will generally give a healthier spark.. this may make a difference to WOT, but is more likely to show up as a better idle, smoother midrange and generally more pleasant motor.
it is definitely worht doing, or at least using a HEI kit with points. elec dizzy with ignitor, and poitns with HEI will yeild about the same results, if using the same coil, but with elec, you never have to worry about it till it fails.

yes. i put one of these dizzies in my 2T and it made a world of difference!
