Wanted: TA22/RA23-28 Celica (Brisbane / S.E. Qld area) Sun, 01 February 2004 23:59 Go to next message
I'm looking to buy a classic TA22/RA23 Celica or Corona. Preferrably in good condition and original because i'm willing to pay good money$$$. Little or no rust, straight body, low-ish klms, good original motor and interior.(or near enough)
Any other offers are also accepted.

Cheers.

To all those people who have old Celicas just sitting there doing nothing but wasting away - the quicker you sell it now the more $$$ you will get for it!

I'll travel to Northern NSW to Fraser Coast and west to Dalby to find one!

An RA35 looks like an RA28.
It was built only for the Japanese market and was never exported around the world. You can view photos of my RA35 GTV LB at:

sorry to hijack acv17's thread ... yup, decided to go a MA61 non-turbo for a while so i can concentrate on EFI computers/megasquirt ... i'll post a proper msg about it when i've got some pics.

on topic: have U (acv17) tried any of the Qld Celica Club folks? they might know of intact, early-model versions floating around.

With all respect to the RA40 i am however looking for the earlier models. I did try, some time ago, the Celica Club but had no response. I was told they are almost inexistent or only very small. Still, if you know of anyone that i could get in contact with from the Club or thereabouts, let me know.

The motor is a 2t pushord with 5 speed and working factory a/c. It runs perfectly as he started it up. It has 15/6 195/50/15 performance mags very new, 2 inch exhast only mods. It has three or four small surface rust gashes easily repairable and normal in a car thirty years old. The contact deatils are Dave George Cars 871 Wynnum rd Cannon Hill 3395 6040.
