1uz single turbo in mk3 supra

hi this mighta been covered b4 but i hav been strongly thinkn bout this 4 sum time would like to set up a 1uz with standard internals compression ect. in my mk3 aiming for 450-500 hp with very broad power curve prob b runin around 9-13 psi boost max with 440cc injectors and linkplus or ems 8840 ecuand single turbonetics t58 (tso4) have a p-trim turbine and .58 exhaust housing im using on 1j would prob jst go to a .96 a/r exhaust housing 4 1uz was thinkin of mountin turbo on top of engine metal mountain jap hot rod style or right forward where air box would b with crossover pipe from right side running under engine to join manifold id like to knoew wat sorta space is available or if theres anyone whos put a 1uz in a mk3 or turboed a 1uz b4 was thinkn of twins but saw a 3.5 liter magna engine in a old zoom mag with single gt 35-40 and crossova pipe that worked very wel log type manifolds ect i rekon a turbo 1uz has gota rock any feedback mutch apreciated cheres Rob.

Ever heard of punctuation? Damn that post is hard to read!
Anyway I don't think putting the turbo on top of the engine would be at all practical. Putting a single turbo at the front of the engine bay would make for uber-long manifold piping, but I don't think you have much of a choice. Methinks a pair of smaller turbos would be a lot nicer...

How about a nice pair of CT26 turbos ?
Since each bank is 2 litres, you could use a similar setup to the 3S-GTE. Maybe even use the twin entry version of the turbo.
Fitting it all under the bonnet is the hardest part of the job though

I'd be inclined to find something along the lines of a pair of GT25's or the like that may be a bit smalled externally than the CT26's.

I reckon a pair of RB25 ball bearing T28's would be the go. Should make in excess of 300rwkw.

Oh yeah SCE make a thicker metal head gasket to suit 1UZ. Would help with the boosting
