Hey all - i am in need of some help very quickly... if any 1 could help me out any of these, i will be in debt to you !
1) - How can you change the colour of plastic parts in your car?
Eg. I want to change the colour of the plastic panel surrounding the radio.
How do you do it, How hard is it, whats it cost, how long does it take to do, and how long will the new colour last before it can be scratched off easily?
2) - How much would it cost to get the Dash bord sprayed (dash has no cracks)
3) - How hard is it to change the colour of the vinal on the doors - any tips ?
4) - How much would it cost to get the roof lining changed to another colour?
thanks people,
Cheers,
Teddy

yeah you can you'll need to prepare it like you'd paint the car.
sanding, primer, paint then maybe a coat
if you take it to a paintshop you'd probably be looking around $500 to get it all done.. carpet would be around $75-150 guesstimate

1.
you can change the colour of the plastic around your radio with vinyl spray pain or ordinary spray pain depending on how dodgy you want it to look, you can get it made up with the colour in the plastic but i dunno where
2. refer to answer 1
3. refer to answer 1
4. ring an auto trimmer they might be able to tell you who will make you a new dash.

Like ^ he ^ said. You can change the colour of most vinyl's and plastic using vinyl dye, I recommend the VHT stuff.
Make sure everything is clean, and you follow the instructions to the T if you want it to work right. You could spray the dash yourself if you're willing to spend the time to do it right.
Roof lining is another question, but most likely if you removed it you could dye it, depends what you want to do.

What they said
Although I do suggest spending a MINIMUM of $12-$15 a can on the vinyl spray
The cheaper the spray, the quicker it fucks up.
Also, prep, prep, prep
Plenty of Wax and Grease remover

Seriously, get the VHT stuff, I tried heaps, and its the best. Everything I used it on is still good about 1.5 years later.
