I think it would depend on how they are done. Mine are engineered.

Yep, certainly am. It's had a few changes though since the last time most people probably saw it.

Grega: Hehe, what strut did I use and how much did I chop the XT130 strut? Smile I take it you meant insert Smile

I'm using AE92 inserts, and RT132 struts actually (which are identical to XT130 ones as far as I can tell). They are cut down 40mm.

I got the kit from Fulcrum for $176. That's sleeves, spanners, hats. Inserts were $480 (private sale), springs were $175 (GSA).

Man thats cheap for the kit... Noltec are asking $290 for there's from memory.

Does the quality seem good?

Hmm, come to think of it, does DOES sound cheap doesn't it? Give Fulcrum a call, I might be wrong - that's just the price I wrote down...

The quality looks okay. Sleeves and stuff are anodised and pretty, hats are very ordinary but they work.

Do the sleeves get welded to the shock, or do you weld a collar on and the sleeve sits against that?

Thanks

These sleeves are alloy so you weld a collar on. If you got steel sleeves you can weld the sleeves on.
