1jzgte into a MA61?

Hello All
I am sure this has been covered and I am sure you guys are tired of repling to the same old questions.
I've been roaming around in the search engine for 2 hours now and have not found what I am looking for.
On my last topic it was suggested that the 1jzgte into the MA61 was a good swap.
If yall have read my other post you would know that I can get the motor, ecu, and wiring at a decent price, but I am looking for a cheap chassis to put it in.
So far all I know is the 1jz (2.5)is the little brother to the 2jz (3.0)and that the 1jz can rev to 7 grand.
The turbo's are good for about 1 bar.
They are better and less likely to blow gaskets than the 7m.(much debate on this one)
How much power can the stock 1jz handel?
Is the bottom end forged like the 2jz?
What is needed to make the swap into the MA61?
Will the 1jz bolt up to the MA61's tranny?
What mounts are needed?
Can I use the 5M's crossmember?
You know the usual questions that I can't seem to find.
Thanks in advance!! and
Thanks for the info from the other post.
C-YA!!

-stock internals 1jz can handle 500+ bhp, but to reach this figure you'll need a new fuel pump, new injectors, new turbo(s), etc.
-5m crossmember is fine, just make sure you get a front sump 1jz (off a chaser or a mark2)
-engine mounts will need to be made up. there's a guy in sydney who makes them for $250 a pair, and from what I've heard it works out cheaper to get him to make them and ship them (or at least, that's what the guy in canada who bought my spare set said)
-ma61 gbox (w58) will bolt up ONLY if you get the 2jz-ge bellhousing, starter, and associated goodies. The 2jz-ge w58 will also bolt up to this, if you think your gearbox is a little sus. The R154 (the manual box that comes with the 1jz-gte) can fit the tranny tunnel of the ma61, but I think there may be some clearance issues, and the tailshaft would probably have to me modded.
edit: if anyhting in there is wrong, I blame the 'flu

At the risk of blowing my own trumpet, this is the most detailed write-up on the net as far as I'm aware:
http://www.norbie.net/Project2JZ
This covers a 2JZ-GTE conversion into an MA61, but a 1JZ swap will be much the same. As mentioned, make sure you start with a front-sump engine or it just plain won't fit.

I'll second that on Norbies site! T'was my inspiration.
Norbie - do you still have the x-member mod blueprint/sketches on the site? I found them VERY useful as an alternative to getting custom mounts.

depends what the x-member of your is200 looks like
if the 1g out of it is front sumped, you'll more than likely need a front sumped 1jz

Now now, you know I still love you.
Turns out my crappy web host is at it again... the entire norbie.net domain has been suspended with no explanation given. I'll get to the bottom of it as soon as possible.

Well it works for me, but I've changed hosts and the DNS changes take a while to propagate everywhere... it will probably work for you in the next day or so.

No one has ever put a 1JZ into an MA61.
You will be a pioneer.
Please excite us all with your novel concept.
