Clutch anger HELP!

hey,
on sunday evening my clutch and associated parts finally died in my ra40 celica. What was happening was when i would put my foot on the clutch a loud metal-on-metal screeching sound could be heard, the RPM's would die and it would be hard to get into gear on occasion.
So yesterday i pull the box out of my car, the thrust race was frozen the pressure plate was rooted because of this and the clutch was down to the rivets. I go out and buy a new clutch kit, put it in and put everything back together.
I took it for a test drive this morning, i go to change to second, the clutch gets really light and my foot goes to the floor, i realase the clutch and it takes a while to come up. Then guess what the same noise is back. It screechs when i put my foot on the clutch and the RPM's die.
I can understand why it was happening before, the frozen thrust race was pushing the pressure plate and trying to stop it, hence the noise. But now i have absolutely no idea where to go from here. I am about to pull the box off again in the hope that i can find the problem
Any one got any suggestions? it is very frustrating to me after doing it myself to find out i gotta do it again
Anyways any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you clean and lube up the gearbox input shaft? This can make a big difference as the clutch fork can stick

did you replace the clucth release bearing ? did you have the flywheel surface refaced ? could also be the spigot bearing in the crank has failed (if you have one)

I did clean and lube up the input shaft
i also replaced the thrust race (also the known as the clutch relase bearing)
i didnt get the flywheel machined as i didnt think it was that bad. same as the spigot bearing. just dont see how it can be either of these two the noise it is making.
i pulled the box back off last night and the clutch fork wasnt on its pivot, so i am thinking this could be my problem
