if you've had your car valued they will pay that out if you havent they will give you market value which will be $2000 TOPS
my cars market value is $1600 Laughing

if i where you id be stripping all of the shit out of your car, but some insurance companies dont love it.

Did someone crash into you? or did you crash into someone?

By the sounds of it he got crashed into by someone
Try and get the car towed to your place so you can strip it

Although, it is up to the other insurance to restore the car back to how it was before the crash, or pay out what it would cost to do it again (I think)

EDIT: Had it around the wrong way Razz

someone crashed into me, i got three quotes of saying it's a write off.. i can drive it around still.. and have been but it's not looking too good.
It's got a new paint job, striaght bumpers (did) perfect unripped seats, etc etc.. lowered rims etc..

I figure if it's a write off i just get a pay out and buy the car back off them for $100.?
is this true?

My mate had his done up r32 skyline crashed into, all the front was fucked.
Cost $8000 to fix, they even got him an even bigger than his already massive intercooler.
They have to fix it to how it was.

exactly
and if it's a write off, you can bet they wont be covering your stereo, the awesome paint job will barely come into it (certainly not what you paid for it)

I'd ask them what their policy is on buying your car back, etc
if it's going to be a rip off, take everyhting you can with you.
