AE82 changes Wed, 04 February 2004 10:35 Go to next message
Hey folks,

Getting real confused with all the engine code, big port, etc terms that I'm reading everywhere when trying to figure out what to do with my Rolla.

Anyhow, stock standard Ae82 twin cam (4AGE) needs some beef. I'm wondering a few things

1. should I go 100kw 4age and work it or go the 20v and work that...
2. What is easier....

3. what are the specs of the 20v? power output (stock) etc..
and does it just slot straight into the rolla without any custom mounts etc.?? what makes this a good engine?

help would be great
excuse my ignorance - yes i'm stupid

but I do need to figure this all out

dont worry man im new to all this aswell i own an ae82 sedan but its not the twincam version, if i was you i wouldnt go a 20valve if ur wanting to do it up because for the same price as a 20 valve u can get a 4agze witch will flog the 20 valve excpect for top end speed where the 20 valve is betta but off the line 4agze will easily win, also if u want to do a 20 valve up it would cost u a dam lot to make it perform the way a 4agze does. hope i helped a little cya
