Blue Monday is an excelent cover. As is Machine Head's Message in a bottle cover off Burning Red. Another classic would be Cats in the Cradle by ugly kid joe. [Report message to a moderator]

even though this thread is about bands covering songs and not actual album covers, i would just like to add one of my personal favorites. cant stand the band, or their music, but: frenzl romb: dick sandwich every time i see that album cover i just say "that is wrong on so many levels... i love it!" I don't really have a favourite cover. But I can say this much, Dixie Chicks covering Smashing Pumpkins - Landslide. There should be a law against that!
