Hey ppl,
I own a 1987 4ac ae82 corolla sedan and I am soon to purchase a 4agze ae101 map sensored I have to choices at the place I am purchising from thier is a 4agze no lsd halfcut for $2200 or a 4agze lsd halfcut for $2500 is gettin lsd worth the extra $200 im pretty new to all of this so im not sure. What does lsd actually do and how much more will it perform. also just another question will a 4agze 4agze ae101 map sensored need some new engine mounting and stuff like that If so, if I took it to a place where they do conversions will they do the mounting for me, thanks to all who help!!

LSD stands for limited slip differential. get the lsd one. youll be happy you did. an lsd in very simple terms means, when you feed the front wheels alot of power, instead of one wheel spinning, the diff locks or tightens ( feeds power evenly the both wheels) giving you more traction. 300 isnt much to pay, some people here spend well over $1000 to get an lsd into their cars. and thats probably atleast what youll pay if you decide you want one at a later date.
as for engine mounts, some of your stock ones can probably be used as the blocks are the same, but youre best bet is to speak to the place you know of that does engine conversions about the whole conversion, and the costs involved.

DEFINITELY go the LSD cut!!!
esp with front wheel drive, wheelspin with that much torque is a problem on hard launches. An LSD will help eliviate that problem.
