intermittant wipers on early celica

G'day,
i have replaced the instrument levers on my 28 with those of a ra40. The new wiper lever has intermittant possition. The wiper motor from the 40 though, seem the same as mine with no extra conections or pins.
I have found the wire that goes from the switch and into the loom.....
My questions is what am i missing in between the switch and the motor that makes the intermittant work?
any one knows what it looks like or has one i could buy???
Cheers
Stew

i have all the bits to make this work i think i bought them from jaycar or something. All you need is a timing circuit that you hook up to the switch/trigger and then into the normal low wiper circuit.
I will see if i can find the kits and get the part numbers (might be a bit hard because i just moved)

i have one of these on my RA28. You have a dial to choose the speed (in seconds). It is an absolute gem. Will try and find out where you can get them.

in my jzx90 chaser loom it has a little box that it goes through to the wiper motor. I haven't got it connected as i really couldn't be bothered after waiting so long.
when you put it on intermitent does it sort of stop half way and then go again? that is what mine does, so i just skip them.
I don't plan on driving in the rain anyway
P.S Rainx is the shiznit!!!

So assuming you have the the combination switch from a RA40 or similar that has a intermitant option on it, it should work?

All it is is a timer circuit that when turned on pulses for a a second and turns off this happens every 5-8 seconds or so.
