Just after some quick advice really, I will be moving to Melbourne shortly and I intend on taking my car with me.
It is all complied as far as queensland laws go, but I am curious as to what problems I will run into in Victoria?
Any info much appreciated.
Cheers Kirk

My advice is to go to the vicroads site, get the list of accredited engineers (theres about 30 of them), and talk to one of them. My suggestion would be Chris from Ceedra Services

Let us know what the engineer has to say.
I recently moved to Melbourne from Canberra with my engineered SC Sprinter. They didnt care as long as the engine number matched my ACT rego details. But I didnt push it either.

Denis

I recently spoke to Vicroads about modified cars from interstate. Their response was, so long as the car has complied with all requirements for modification in the original state, they don't require anything other than new registration of that vehicle within three months of residency. That said, you won't need to engineer your car again, simply provide the paperwork and money for registration in Victoria.
