just bought a mz20 soarer. cant find the engine number on the block. i was hoping to get a permit but need the engine number

A) You should be able to give them to body (chassis) number instead
B) The engine numebr is written on the licensing papers (which you should still get even if its expired
C) Its on the drivers side, just infront of the oil filter (well, it is on the 5m/6m)

This link is for the Mk3 TSRM and it shows you where the engine number is, and it is a bitch to get to. I can read about 6 of the numbers, but not the last two. The turbo and other crap gets in the way.

yeah they dont make it easy to read.. i just had to get mine off the 1j for engineering. was about to start taking parts off to get to it. Mad
