i just bought a mz20 soarer and i cant find the engine number. i need this info to get a permit so i can drive it. help!

It's on the block under the inlet manifold. It's pretty hard to see without pulling the manifold off but you can just make it out!

norbie... are you ok?

its at the front of the block, under the EXHAUST manifold, infront of the oil filter mounting block (drivers side)... about 1/2 way down the side towards the sump

Dammit, you're right. I remembered it was on the drivers side, but after working on the 18R-G for the past couple of weeks I'm used to the inlet manifold being on that side!
