I got the TEMS (which is utter Sh*t) removed and had 4 KYB shocks with 'i think' lovells springs fitted. Cost me $880 all up.

Whatever you do DON"T use Koni's..I got a pair in the front of my Supra with a set of 30mm lower kings springs, the left one was rooted after 11 1/2 months and I think the right one is going too. They have a return to woop woop warranty that is all at your expense which is utter bullshit when you consider that the car will have to be off the road for at least while they fuck around.
Thats my rant done for the day!

What about the HKS TEMS in the GT model? Are they any good?

Depends if you want to keep the TEMS. The TEMS shocks are bloody cheap from Toyota - $71.50 each list price. These are KYB items and aren't too bad. I'm not sure what brand springs I have - except they are two inches lower on the front and an inch lower on the back. Very hard to get the trolley jack under front crossmember, slight nosedive into the corner but you can feel the stiffness increase when the TEMS comes on. Corners well for a 1600 Kg car. If TEMS does nothing your shocks are probably f**ked. Currently I have some JZA70 original Bilsteins and springs on my MA70 to pass RTA inspection but the lowered springs (and TEMS) are better. Brand of springs unknown except original colour was yellow.

good shocks and springs and whatever are going to make a bit of a difference yes but the biggest difference is going to come from good swaybars as the supras are pretty soft to start with. I lowered mine 30mm and am going to have to lift it back up again as i have destroyed the cat from scraping it on the road. Whiteline prices seem to be pretty reasonable for swaybars and stuff
