How can I import an AE111 from Oversea?
The car is owned by a family friends in Hong Kong, I think that is a 97 model and imported from Japan to Hong Kong in 99.
How much would that cost me?

As far as i know shipping is 1200-2k but i have noidea on complience but i cant see it being more that 5k, are you buying the car off them??? Ring up a importer place like Oz Direct and see how much they charge for complience

the owner ask for around $8000AD, and they will send me the mod list later!
well and he has got a friend who has a AE101 for sale for a bit cheaper.
I really can't make up my mind!!
one more question how much will the insurance cost me!!

it is a stock stand car with 60000kms on the clock.
Does that worth AU8000 + compliance and shopping?
