That was great fun!
Apart from my no. plate falling off at the end and nearly being run over by Ribbo (I told you all I would forget about it!), that and watching bangit nearly rear ending someone as he locked up round a corner, then I nearly rear ending him. The cars infront were bumper to bumper, so it could have been messy, but I'll put this one down to our superior braking skill and ability.
There was some great cars there, and it was good to see a few new faces, and alot of familiar ones (I still have trouble remembering all the names though.....)
I took a couple photos too, but my mate (who rode shotgun in my car) took a shitload more on his camera, plus a few little films. They should be up tomorrow hopefully.....

How cool was the Supercruise !!!
What can I say clearly the desire to cruise is still alive and well amongst the Toymodders. With well over 50 cars at the starting point it was great to see so many new faces in support of the club.
After cruising straight up the expressway to the blue mountains we regrouped at the Scenic Railway where we managed to fill almost 2 whole levels of the multistory carpark. With the weather bloody cold and windy we headed to the cafe for food and a chat.
Luke unfortunately had to bail (Bloody work commitments) so after lunch 30 or so cars forged on further up the mountains to Mt Victoria.
Special thanks to Bob and Blake (Green TA22) for leading the Toymods pack along Darling Causeway and back towards Sydney via the Bells line of road.
We stopped for two photo shoots so keep an eye out for links as the pictures go up on line. I don't think I've ever seen that many Camera's outside Darling Harbour
I could go on for ages here but I'll leave something for the others to type about.
Most importantly tho I just want to thank everyone who came along today and made it a great day out. We don't have everything sorted just yet but with a little patience we will get our act together for cruises this size !
PS It was great to see an even weighting of Corolla Verses Celica on the day. I didn't realise Corolla's only came in Red and white The Final grouping saw 8 Corolla's, 8 Classic Celica's, 1 RA60, 1 Supra, 2 MR2's, 2 Starlets, 1 Caldina, 2 Camry's, 1 Cressida, 2 Nissans, 1 Holden and Ribbo doing his bit in support for the Sprinter Girls !
After today I have realised. Corolla's may be for doing the shopping but it is truely the girls who drive the Sprinters. Hey Ribbo maybe you should get a Celica (Just kidding)
Regards,

Hey, this has given me an idea for the 'old celica cruise'. I reckon I should make it a competition, the most cars of similar model at the end, all the owners of those cars get a prize. And it'll be a pretty good prize, to get everyone keen.....
I think the sprinters need to put a bit of a show in this time, ribbo could have done with the backup. The cars that are there by themselves count as a group too, toyota or not, but if there's two of you, you're out!
I just hope it compares to todays cruise.
BTW, great pic troy , your's ain't too bad either matt, I'm just waiting for the celica one....... EDIT: ah, whoops, there it is! And thanks for putting in that picture of me, what was I thinking?

Hey guys,,,, Just to make it known... Bandit was not driving his car for most of the day.. on accounts that he is a "P" plater and couldn't keep up.. His mate was driving when locking up behind cars.. and then thought it was oh soooo cool... Me thinks he would of been in for a bit of trouble if he had of hit... As for us girls In the Astra.... We both had a great time.. until we got abandoned by the Rolla group and then got a lil lost fot 5 mins.. but managed to meet up agian eventually.... all I can say is well done.... Next cruise I am deffintly taking the RA40 so I don't have to go shotgun....

That white MR2 is mine. Corvid's has a black roof and 15 inch 6 spoke rims.
Its was a good day. I might think about wearing more than just shorts and a T shirt next time though.

WOW!!! There sure is LOTS of PICS from Supercruise Sunday!!! This thread is sure getting longer to load due to the large pics etc. There must be several hundred photo's taken that day. Can't wait to see them all. My suggestion is to create a new thread with picture links etc. BTW Troyboy: Nice 360deg. panoramic shot. Neat feature of yur camera

I've put them here: http://www.toymods.org.au/Cruise%2020020519/
Enjoy. I'm leaving for a month, so any additions will have to wait until I come back...

Hey paul, my other favourite was your pic of the same supra in motion in the twilight. That one is brilliant. Should sell it to some of the Supra clubs!

Goddamn, that last pic is like a one-way peak-hour line up!
If that was all the cars that showed up at the last SuperCruise, I should get down there for the next one.
Sometimes I hate being so far away. I love cruises like that and I'm keen to meet all you guys (and gals)...
Till next time.
