3T Spark Plugs	Fri, 06 February 2004 01:28

Just wondering which spark plugs people are using in their 3T-GTEs as you can't get anything specifically suited to them. I don't have an orginal spark plug around without going on a mission so i can't just check the ratings on the originals. If you're not running anything too extravagant, use NGK BP6ES, if you are running higher boost, you may need one range colder plug, eg: BP7ES. Cheers Phil [Report message to a moderator]

Y series (as opposed to S) ive found stay clean a little longer (possibly due to fatter spark size at the tip?) cheers ed [Report message to a moderator]

Yeah, the V groove does seem to help with fouling. Gap them to 0.8mm as well if you have problems with higher boost. [Report message to a moderator]
